Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center and Musky
Clubs Alliance of Wisconsin, Inc. are pleased to announce
the 23rd Annual National Championship Musky Open Tournament
on August 15, 16 and 17, 2008.
Our door prizes and raffle prizes will be better than ever!
The Grand Door Prize is a 2008 Mercury Powered Ranger Boat with
a RangerTrail trailer and a Minn Kota Trolling Motor. Other
prizes have been supplied by St. Croix Rod, MotorGuide, Fittante
Replicas, H3O, Enticer Tackle, Super Slayer, Wild Eagle Lodge, Frasier's Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electrical, Minn Kota, WYOW Northwoods TV 34,
Frabill, Heckel's Eagle River Marina, UP Musky Products - Sea King Ultra, Miller Beer of the Northwoods,
Musky Hunter and Shimano.
Our tournament headquarters will be at Vilas County Fairgrounds
on Highway 70 West, just blocks from downtown Eagle River.
Registration and orientation will be at the headquarters
where you will receive your registration packet.
Please note the registration hours, briefing times and fishing
hours. All contestants must attend a briefing before
fishing and must register in person.
The entry fee will be $50.00 on or before August 1, 2008. Please note that all walk-in
entry fees at the tournament headquarters will be $55.00
cash. We would like as many entrants as possible to pre-register
before August 1, 2008. This makes it easier for the tournament
to have the proper number of hats, entrant bags and any
other information. To be eligible for the Early
Bird Drawing, you must enter before May 15, 2008. Our
Early Bird Prize is two nights lodging by the Days Inn in
Eagle River (subject to availability).
We
will mail you a confirmation registration card. Please keep
your copy and bring it to tournament registration.
It's going to be a great tournament! Remember, a portion
of the proceeds always goes for fish stocking and habitat imporvement. If you have

*HELP FIGHT HUNGER
Get a chance to win a Shimano Reel by donating a non-perishable food item. For each food item you donate, you will receive one chance in the Help Fight Hunger drawing. Non-perishable food items can be brought throughout the weekend to the Help Fight Hunger Tent located at tournament headquarters. All food donations will be donated to the Vilas County Food Pantry.
*GUARDIAN AND YOUTH TROPHY
A registerd adult (18 and older) and a child (6 - 15 years) can enter to win this category by catching the most fish in inches. The winners of this category will receive a trophy for their effortss. This category is just like the Husband/Wife category.

Bring
a "New Angler" Drawing
Any
prior angler of the National Championship Musky Open who
gets a NEW angler to enter the 2008 tournament, can enter their name into a special drawing for a musky rod and reel. The more people you have entered, to more chances you have to win this great musky rod and reel. You do not have to fish with this person(s), just recommend our great event and have the new angler register to be in the tournament.
