The Northwoods Wildlife Center is a not-for-profit hospital for sick, injured and orphaned wild animals with the goal of treating them and subsequently releasing them into their natural habitat for a second chance at life in the wild. The Center is also a resource for wildlife and environmental education. Programs are available on-premise and off-premise for schools, clubs, camps, civic organizations and more. Guided visitor tours for the public are also available six days a week from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm in the winter and from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm in the summer. No charge but contributions to the center would be appreciated.
