We typically begin with breathing exercises to ground and center ourselves and calm our minds, then warm up gently and move with our breath, using the postures to increase flexibility, strength, and balance. With special attention to form, we will discover our inner fluidity so that an increase in vitality helps us feel amazing. And while holding postures, using breath exercises, and being gently guided back to deep body awareness, we’ll be getting stronger and staying balanced—essential attributes for everyone.

It’s important to Alie that you are not only doing the postures safely but that you also feel great doing them, so she offers precise alignment details and modifications so that you are doing the yoga pose in a way that’s appropriate for your body. We will end our time together with profound, healing relaxation. It is Alie’s intention to help you feel your best, be your best, and do your best.
