“This Saturday, October 3^rd from noon to four, our store will host a Soup Walk, with 10% of the proceeds from all homemade soup sales going to FORK, Feed Our Rural Kids.”

The store features (16 varieties) of from scratch, homemade soups.

“A few of our customer favorite soups are Cheesy Beer Brat, Chicken Tortilla, Stuffed Pepper, Tomato Basil Bisque, Sicilian Sausage, Beef Vegetable Barley, and Corn Chowder.” explained Martin. “Mix and match your favorite flavors to help the kids.”.

Soups can be purchased in 16 oz or 32 oz containers and a FREE mini loaf of bread is included with the purchase of 2 quarts of soup, (4-16oz) or (2-32oz) selections.

“Tasting samples are available so you only take home the soups you love,” concluded Martin.

“When FORK was created, we had hoped for individuals, organizations and businesses like Hillbilly Hollow to step forward to help us to feed our rural kids,” stated FORK President Perry Pokrandt. “This is the kind of event that represents a win for everyone involved, especially the children.”

Feed Our Rural Kids is a registered 501c3 and was created to provide nutritional support to school-aged children from food insecure homes within the Northland Pines School District.
