THE VILAS COUNTY SUMMER ATV/UTV & OHM TRAIL SYSTEM IS OPEN
The Lakeland ATV Club, Landover ATV Club, Sayner Barnstormers, and St. Germain ATV Club; sponsors of the Vilas County funded trail and troute system, have spent many hours brushing, signing and performing trail tread maintenance to have the trails properly prepared for the upcoming season. These trails would not be possible without the exceptional volunteer work that these clubs do. If you are not a club member, join today to help support these trails.
The Vilas County Summer ATV/UTV Trail System consists of 39.5 miles of trails, 12.7 miles of troutes, and many more road route miles. All County highways, the lettered highways, are open for ATV/UTV travel except in the Town of Lac du Flambeau. Numbered highways are not open for use. We hope that you plan to visit our trail system and that you “Ride Right” - stay to the right, stay on the marked trails, do not drink and drive and respect others on the trail.
The Vilas County Landover Dual Sporters; the sponsor club of the OHM trails, after many hours of inspection and trail maintenance, have confirmed that conditions will be ready for the OHM trails to open on Friday, May 2, 2025. Thank you to all the volunteers for their hard work in preparing and maintaining this trail system.
The Vilas County OHM system consists of 30.7 miles of funded trails, with areas developed for riders of all skill levels. The trailhead is lo
