DESCRIPTION:
The Bingo Floor Workers are under the supervision of the Bingo Manager/Supervisor, and are responsible for selling additional specials, assist customers in proper process of playing bingo, call bingos out loud to caller over microphones, and perform various other duties as required by management. A Floor Worker needs to be energetic, able to stand on their feet for long periods of time, communicate easily with large groups of people, and make change accurately and quickly. DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for presentation of numbers to participants in the Bingo game using equipment which includes bingo balls, mixer, lay down, counter, display boards, VCR, television, and closed-circuit television monitors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Verbally announces the numbers for the playing of the game and adjusts the speed of calling to meet special needs or situations.
•

Verifies Bingo wins on the securities and master lays down.
•
One of the two callers to ensure the winning numbers are in the appropriate pattern. While one performs the above function, the other is responsible for the monitoring and the recording of the game number, the bingo floor section, the board number, the vendor involved in the call
-back and the level of play of the win while observing general game operations. Should irregularities occur callers should advise the bingo supervisor and security as needed.
•
Maintains all necessary game records.
•
Announces prizes and makes other public announcements over the public address system, including special announcements (beginning of each session, beginning and end of intermissions, and end of night).
•
Responsible for equipment used in the Bingo operation. Conducts daily pre-game tests of caller’s equipment (numbers, microphones, machines, mixer board, monitors, display boards, copiers, etc.) and reports results to bingo supervisor.
•
As the focal point of the game, the conduct of the caller must be above reproach and represent the highest level of integrity, the most vital factor in the Bingo operation. The callers must conduct themselves in a manner which absolutely avoids even the appearance of wrongdoing.
•
Callers are to communicate their observations on operations, games, patterns of play, or other matters to appropriate supervisors.
•
Recognizes that employees have certain responsibilities which affect the operational efficiency of the casino.
•
Maintains proper attendance in accordance with casino policy. Arrives to work on time in accordance with casino policy.
•
Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the casino, and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of every person (guests and co-workers).

Will focus on ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and grant requirements while performing advanced financial analytics. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a full-time, Accounting Analyst your responsibilities will include:
Compliance and Grant Reporting:
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state requirements as they apply to accounting functions and assists with the preparation of all reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Ensures compliance with grant requirements and regulatory standards, overseeing the timely submission of all reports.
- Develops and implements compliance reporting procedures to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Monitors and reviews compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Conducts regular compliance audits and risk assessments, identifying and addressing compliance issues and recommending corrective actions.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting the organization.
- Assists with the preparation and submission of grant applications, monitors grant expenditures, and ensures proper documentation for grant-related activities.
- Coordinates with grantors and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepares, manages, and reviews grant and general ledger (GL) account reconciliation.

- Cross-trains in other accounting duties to provide back-up assistance for other functions as necessary.

This individual will be responsible for working with the Facilities Team to perform the maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of our 100+ acre campus including buildings, camp facilities and grounds. Job Description
Pirates Hideaway is a fun summertime Northwoods destination seeking
a dedicated grounds & maintenance worker to join our summer seasonal team. This role is essential for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for landscaping and grounds upkeep. Responsibilities will include various tasks related to refuse management, lawn care, landscape maintenance, sanitation. Safety, and pirate ship (attraction) upkeep. Enjoy working mornings outside on Duck Lake in Eagle River!
Service Atmosphere:
Morning responsibilities in a beautiful lakeside setting.
Commitment:
Wednesdays through Mondays morning shifts. Approximate 7 am start.
Compensation:
$17-$20/hr
Primary Responsibilities
- Aesthetics & Refuse Management
- Restroom Sanitation
- Daily Pirate Ship Fueling & Prep
- Grounds, Garden, Miscellaneous
The morning workflow is as follows:
1) Refuse Management: Upon arrival our grounds & maintenance professional is responsible for trailering trash bins up to dumpsters dumping them, transporting them back, and organizing respective locations.
2) Sanitation: Employee ensures grounds are ready for morning traffic, including a thorough sanitation of the 3 public restrooms onsite.
3) Pirate Ship Preparation for first ride of the day.
4) “Ready for Service” Inspection: Employee wanders garden & grounds to ensure they are ready for customers, and addresses any aesthetic, safety, or improvement concerns.
The above duties are the primary duties, but with the remaining time or extended hours employees can perform various tasks affiliated with the garden, ground and building aesthetics, or event needs.
Position Qualifications
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and perform other motions associated with physical labor.
- The “handier” the applicant the better. While the primary duties are the most important duties for this position, there is much more opportunity for additional hours if applicant can paint, troubleshoot, use tools, etc.
- Applicants should be detail oriented.
- Applicants should be friendly, and willing to kindly engage with others as they arrive.

DESCRIPTION
The Buildings and Grounds Assistant is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all North Lakeland Discovery Center (NLDC) buildings, grounds, trails, and equipment to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Duties include property and grounds maintenance, trail care, equipment servicing, and boat transport, as well as providing support for programs and special events. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the organization’s facilities and supporting its mission by collaborating with staff and assisting as needed.
EXPECTATIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES
Property Maintenance — Perform upkeep of all NLDC buildings, including painting, staining, roof cleaning, plumbing, carpentry, etc.
Housekeeping — Cleaning of offices, lodge, Discovery Hall, cabins, and bathrooms, and completing works orders submitted by staff.
Grounds Maintenance — Perform regular upkeep of NLDC grounds, including mowing, trimming, watering, weeding, spring/fall cleanup, winter ice removal from walkways, snowplowing of driveways, etc.
Trail Maintenance — Perform care for the 12-mile NLDC trail system, including brushing, clearing, boardwalk repair, sign upkeep, winter ski trail grooming, etc.
Equipment Maintenance — Perform vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and routine service. Report any issues to the Facilities Manager.
Boat Transport — Transport, launch, and trailer the pontoon boat and other boats as needed for programs and special events.
Program Support — Support NLDC staff for programs and special events i.e., fundraising events and weddings, including tent set-up, table and chair set-up, power cord placement and management, clean-up, etc.
Contribute to the Organization’s Mission —Communicate needs to and be willing to help other team members as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING
Strong interpersonal skills needed to collaborate with staff, local service providers, vendors, building contractors, and groups when on site for programming and special events.
Strong organization skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
Strong problem-solving skills to find effective solutions for a variety of potential issues unique to grounds, buildings, cabin residence, group events, etc.
Strong mechanical knowledge of hand and power tools, vehicles, boats, trailers, recreational and utility equipment, electrical, heating, and plumbing fixtures, and functions.
Basic office and computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office software i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint.
Passion for working outdoors with experience and appreciation for all four seasons and the conditions that accompany each.
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record plus experience trailering boats.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift 40 lbs, work flexible hours including weekends, and work in inclement weather.
