In 1951, Wheaton College created HoneyRock and it quickly became an innovator in using the outdoors for educational purposes. This 800 acre leadership laboratory is located in Northern Wisconsin. HoneyRock is Wheaton’s Northwoods Campus, as well as a fully operational Christian camp and retreat center. HoneyRock serves over 3,000 campers and guests each year. We offer a wide variety of summer camp programs, from our one-week camp program for elementary students to our seven-week service team program for High Schoolers. Our extensive wilderness program offers canoeing, climbing and backpacking trips in Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota.
