The Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation serves our nation’s combat-wounded Purple Heart recipients by providing therapeutic world-class outdoor adaptive sporting activities as a means to recognize and honor their sacrifice and promote healing through camaraderie and a shared passion for the outdoors.

Each year Purple Heart Vets from around the country come to Eagle River, Wisconsin for a Guided fishing adventure on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes. All expenses covered by area businesses, civic organizations, churches and individuals.

We have several fund-raising events throughout the year and we always need volunteers. New sponsors are always welcome to help us cover our expenses. Please let us know if you would like to help!
