Eagle River Traditions

When it comes to this time of year, we’ve got a lot to be thankful for. A great fishing season, family and friends surrounding us, and we’re crossing our fingers for some snow up ahead. But, as November rolls around, we know that people love to lean into their traditions. Here are some of our favorite yearly Eagle River traditions and events you won’t want to miss this time of year.

Hunting Season Opener

Gather the group for a day out in the woods hunting for all the local game. See what you can expect during a fall hunting session in our neck of the woods. Make it a guy’s getaway by reserving an entire home for the weekend.

Wi-Does Wine Walk

Enjoy an afternoon of shopping and wine tasting in downtown Eagle River during the Wi-Does Wine Walk. This annual event features many sales, featured selections of red and white wines, and a special tasting glass souvenir.

Small Business Saturday

Support your small-town shops by doing your holiday shopping locally. Get great deals and check off your list at the same time.

Treat Yourself

With all the hustle and bustle, make sure you take time to rest and relax. Treat yourself to a massage at Kneaded Relief and pick up a gift card to gift later on while you’re there.

Family Hiking in Fall

Plan Your Annual Family Outing

If weather permits, plan a family hike. Or enjoy each other’s company with a nice dinner downtown, over some card games at a cabin, or taking in a sunset by the lake.
