Mike will explain the rocks below our feet and the glacial formation of this northern forest;

Joe will be there to help us connect our region’s geologic history with an understanding of how the forests became what they are today.

Participants will meet at TFT before caravanning to Tara Lila.  Those under 18 must be accompanied by an attending adult.

The hike will last approximately 1.5 – 2 hours through 1-2 miles of occasionally unlevel terrain.
