Learn oil painting basics in this evening workshop, focusing on color theory and brushstroke, with an emphasis on color mixing, while creating a tall skinny cactus. Students will use water-mixable oil paints on a stretched canvas. All supplies included. Don’t wear nice clothes. Aprons available. Please feel free to brings snacks. Instructor Bio: McCall is a mom of two young kiddos, the Warehouse’s Marketing Director, and an avid oil painter in her free time, creating usually weird and whimsical surrealist portraits. She got her degree in ceramics from UW-Madison and was a high/middle school art teacher in Colorado before moving to the Northwoods
