January 8-10, 2021
Classic Vintage Races dedicated to the grand old racing machines of the sixties, seventies and eighties. These machines are meticulously resorted, the engines are tuned and reliable and the competition is highly reminiscent of the “good old days”.

January 15-17, 2021
From its humble beginnings on Dollar Lake to the multi-million dollar facility we all enjoy today; the Derby was destined to be the best. It hosts three separate racing venues: ice oval, sno-cross and vintage racing. Thursday evening features time trials, Friday night features “Friday Night Thunder”, Saturday features grueling heats, quarter and semi finals all leading up to the Championship Finals on Sunday. Racing Daily at 10:00 am.
16th Annual Labatt Blue USA Adult Pond Hockey Championships
February 4 – 7, 2021 – Canceled for 2021
USA Hockey and Labatt Blue invites you, your teammates and families to enjoy the experience at this year’s 4 on 4 Pond Hockey Championships held on Dollar Lake. For information on registration go to USA Hockey website. (Registrations will be accepted starting around Sept. 30, 2020 for the 2021 Championships. Watch for it.)
Memorial Day Arts and Crafts Show and Sidewalk Sales

10:00 am to 4:00 pm Downtown Eagle River. Kicking off the new summer tourist-filled season, this arts and crafts show will showcase many area crafters as well as artists from the northwoods and beyond. Also featured will be downtown businesses placing sale products for sale on tables outside of their stores. Live music, food and beverages available.

Eagle River's Up North Beerfest & Premier Beer Night

Held on the grounds of Hi-Pines Campground.
Premier Beer Night
We will kick off Up North Beerfest on Friday evening with Premier Beer Night – a more eloquent tasting of hand crafted beers on Friday evening, Jun 11th from 6pm to 8pm. This is a special tasting of specialty beers presented by 12 of the more than 20 Up North Beerfest Breweries. (They will showcase beers that will not be served at the event on Saturday.) We will literally be rolling out the red carpet for this evening – there will be live entertainment, tasty hors d’oeuvres and a special sampling glass for all to enjoy.

Saturday, June 12th from 2pm – 6pm. Join us for the tasting of microbrews and craft beers from more than 20 featured breweries. Attendees will enjoy live entertainment, receive a souvenir tasting glass and can learn about the brewing process from some of the Midwest’s most celebrated brewers.

The PMTT’s high energy format has been developed not only with the Pro’s in mind, but also the dozens and dozens of other excellent musky anglers who may have the desire and ability to become Pro’s or just enjoy a little competition and want to have a good time. Success in the PMTT can take you down many roads, no matter what your skill level. Come join the PMTT and have fun.

Join us in downtown Eagle River for our 4th of July Festivities.
10:00am – 11:00am – Musical entertainment, food and beer garden available at the corner of Main and Wall Street
11:00 am – Kick off of the 4th of July Parade. Celebrate our nations’ freedom and Eagle River’s hometown pride by taking in our spectacular parade with over 60 entrants including many specialty floats.
12:30 – 3pm – Wall Street, in the first two blocks First to Railroad Street, will continue to be shut down to traffic to continue the festivities after the parade. Musical entertainment, food, activities for children and the beer garden will be available on Wall Street.
Fireworks Display – Vilas County Fairgrounds (Hwy 70 W)
At Dusk our colorful fireworks display will be shot high in the sky over the Vilas County Fairgrounds located on Hwy 70W of Eagle River.

10:00 am to 4:00 pm Downtown Eagle River. Eagle River is cooking the largest burger in Wisconsin – over 300 pounds – to support Homes for Our Troops. Join us in not only showcasing your handmade arts and crafts, but help us raise funds for Homes for Our Troops. This day will be filled with the creation of the largest hamburger in Wisconsin, the arts and crafts show, musical entertainment, hamburger eating contests, and more.
49th Annual Artarama Riverwalk Art Show and Sale

9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Riverside Park.This nationally known one-day art and fine craft festival draws top-quality artists and a large, art-savvy and buying public. Live music, picnic-style food and parking provided by non-profit organizations. Always held the third weekend in July.

Old-Fashioneds Up North - 4th Annual - Postponed to 2021

Northwoods bartenders will put their skills to the test in our Old Fashioned making competition. Each restaurant will be represented by two bartenders who are limited to two Old Fashioned recipes. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided and there will be live entertainment with a supper club theme throughout the evening. This event is being held at Eagle Waters Resort from 6-8:30pm.
