Get Your Tickets
While there’s plenty of fun to be had around the city of Eagle River with winter activities and snowmobiling, the real fun of Derby Day Weekend is on the grounds. Make sure you get your tickets, and pack some extra hand warmers because this is sure to be an all-day event.
Book Lodging – And Do it Early
With so many snowmobilers and spectators coming to ride the trails, you’ll need to secure a spot at one of our hotels or lodging options. Don’t be afraid to bring the whole crew, we’ve got lodging, restaurants and activities that can accommodate large groups.
It gets pretty chilly in our neck of the woods. Remember to bundle up when you’re at the Derby and when you’re out on the trails yourselves. You can stop at many of our retailers for some extra layers and protective gear.
Go for a Spin
We are the Snowmobile Capital of the World after all, so you shouldn’t be surprised to hear we’ve got some impressive trails to explore. See some of our favorite trails on your own snowmobile or rent one while you’re here. Just remember that you’re not the one racing and should respect all posted signs and trail etiquette.
