Eagle River: After Hours

Fireflies aren’t the only thing lighting up our nights in Eagle River, take a look at the best places to go to fill your Northwoods nights with flavor, music, and more. And don’t forget to enjoy your time responsibly!

Catch Live Music Under the Stars

Summer evenings and live music go hand in hand which is why Eagle River offers lots of places for you to settle in, grab a drink, and let the Northwoods rhythm and vibes take over.

Sweetwater Spirits & Resort hosts live entertainment during their Live Music Weekends Series. So, you can enjoy the views of the lake and some delicious food with music filling the air. Overlooking the chain, Marina Bar at The Everett is another favorite for music (and lake) lovers. Pull up by boat or car, grab a seat outside, and listen to live brands while watching one of the area’s unforgettable sunsets. Keep the fun on the lake going into the night with a sunset cruise on a pirate ship followed by live music on the shore when you dock at Pirate’s Hideaway.

Or head downtown, where Andy’s Pontoon Saloon has quickly become one of Eagle River’s most popular gathering spots. Head out to the beer garden for live music, trivia, special events, and of course, good times.

Need another option? Don’t miss Brew Station’s summer series of live music, food specials, and game nights. Even your dogs can get in on the night-time fun out on their Brewtanical Garden.

Keep the Night Going

If you’re looking for a relaxed place to grab another round, Brothermanz Bar keeps the good times rolling with late-night drinks and a welcoming local atmosphere. Or, if you’re feeling lucky, pop over to the area’s nearby casinos, Lake of the Torches Resort Casino and Lac Vieux Desert Northern Waters Casino Resort, to try your hand at slots or table games.

Shop, Sip and Stroll

If the bar scene isn’t your scene, spend the night out at the new Roots Juice Pub’s weekly evening market where you can shop local makers, fill up from food vendors, see artists, and connect with the community. Or, bring your own lawn chair to WRJO’s Thursday night Street Dances for dancing, prizes, and of course drinks.

Enjoy Responsibly

If you’re staying out late, make sure you can make it home safely. John Barnes Taxi & Rideshare offers reliable local transportation so you can enjoy your night out without worrying about who’s behind the wheel.

With these tips, we hope you’ll stay a little longer and make some memories under the stars. How will you spend your night out in Eagle River?
