The temperatures are dropping and while it might not be time to get out your ice fishing and snowmobiling gear just quite yet, there’s still plenty of ways to enjoy this season in Eagle River. We suggest staying warm and relaxed in some of our favorite local coffee shops and businesses.
339 West Pine Street
Come in from the cold and spend a morning catching up with friends or getting some work done while enjoying a cup of joe and a bite to eat. All of the coffee roasts are original blends made in small batches by local artisans, so you can get a worldly taste without leaving our little neck of the woods.
904 North Railroad Street
Before a day at the World Championship Derby Complex, after one on the snowmobile trails, or just about any other occasion Monday through Saturday, come into one of our local’s favorites, Leif’s Café. Get your fill of their tasty home-cooked breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
101 West Wall Street
Bring your appetite and your family for Friendship House’s home-cooked family style meals and all you can eat dinners. For the breakfast lovers, it’s served with a smile anytime of day. You’ll quickly see where they get their name from with great comfort food and very friendly service.
Bring the Comfort Out with You
Grab a coffee or hot cocoa to keep you warm on a late fall hike. Watch birds and other wildlife while you stroll along the trails. And stop by one of our gift shops for some cozy moccasins and handmade goodies.
For your stay, rent a cabin or stay at one of our resorts with a fireplace and make your Eagle River vacation the most relaxing it can be. Cuddle up with a good book and live easy like we do in the Northwoods. If you finish your book during your stay, forgot to bring another from home, or are looking for something new make sure to stop by the Olson Memorial Library.
