Up North And Down The Hatch

Up North and Down the Hatch

You could say we appreciate craft, or call us connoisseurs, but we’re ok with you just raising a glass with us and saying ‘cheers.’ Whatever kinda beer drinker you are, you’re sure to find a brew to your liking – and a whole lotta fun – at Eagle River’s Annual Up North Beerfest. And, this year we have two exciting events on June 8th and 9th where you can sample the best brews the Northwoods has to offer.

Up North Beerfest: Saturday, June 9th

Up North Beerfest brings you your favorite craft beers and a wide variety of new brews from over 30 breweries. Sample the flavors in your own commemorative Up North Beerfest sampler glass while enjoying live music and the beautiful Northwoods setting of Hi-Pines Campground.

Festivalgoers will recognize a few of the big names in the craft brewing world at the festival. In addition to award-winning regional brewers, the Up North Beerfest features several smaller brewers from the immediate Northwoods area. Be sure to get samples from Tribute Brewing Company which brews its Blueberry Train Wheat Ale right here in Eagle River. Now is your chance to give their suds a try, if you haven’t already.

While you’re filling your glass, please don’t forget to fill up on food too. This four-hour festival will have an assortment of food for purchase and free bus shuttles will be running from the festival to many area hotels and motels to get you home safe.

New Premier Beer Night: Friday, June 8th

We’re kicking off the big Beerfest excitement with a new Friday event where guests can sample a tasting of specialty craft beers that will not be available on Saturday from 12 brewers. With a red carpet, live entertainment, tasty hors d’oeuvres and special sampling glasses, we guess you could say it’s a very imPOURtant party. Purchase your Premier Beer Night tickets at the same time as Up North Beerfest, but you’d better hurry because tickets are limited.

Make sure to get your tickets before they’re tapped out and spend the weekend enjoying Eagle River.
