These Vilas County Forest trails pass through rolling countryside in stands of aspen, mature oak and pine. Portions of this trail, via the Pioneer Creek Cross Country Ski Trail, are utilized to create almost 20 miles of signed equestrian trails.

From the intersection of Hwy 45 and County Hwy K in Conover, continue east on County Hwy K, just past the Town Park and watch for the Pioneer Creek Trail signs on the south side of the road.
