Northwoods Artisans

We’re not all anglers and outdoorsy, we’ve got some serious artisans in our neck of the woods. From craft beer and handmade bread to home goods and fine art, take a look at the handiwork coming out of Eagle River.

Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth

If you’ve been to Eagle River before, you know you can’t leave without trying some locally made fudge. And how could you when it’s made the old-fashioned way? Since 1964, The Country Store in downtown Eagle River has been using Wisconsin sweet cream and butter to make their award-winning recipes. Make sure to get your fill of toffee, chocolate and of course – fudge.

Grab a Pint of Carefully Crafted Beer

After meeting at a beer festival, Bill and Mark opened Tribute Brewing Company and started brewing flavors with local stories behind them. Each craft beer they concoct is attributed to the folklore of Eagle River. Pull up a stool for a great beer and a tale or two as well.

Channel the Artist in You

With five tailored programs, public events and a huge variety of classes and course, anyone can bring out their inner artist at The Warehouse Four Seasons Center for the Arts. Pottery, watercolor, theatre, jewelry making, Japanese paper making and fiber arts are just some of the many classes taught by a staff of artists and volunteers. With class levels for all skillsets and ages, The Warehouse connects art to the Northwoods and gives everyone the opportunity to be creative. Shop handcrafted mugs and goods in their window gallery. Or attend their Art off the Tracks event where you can buy works from their artists as well as a beverage from Inspiration Bar each to help support their mission.

Book a Photo Session

Book a family session, engagement shoot, or wedding photos with talented photographers, Matt and Krista Fornear of Fornear Photo. They’re always up for capturing the beautiful Northwoods or getting creative in local breweries, lodges or anywhere surrounding our neck of the woods.

And keep your eye out on our calendar for Craft Fairs and summer Famer’s Markets where you can pick up delicious foods, homemade dips and spices, crafts and so much more.
