Sure, we’re all about the outdoors here, but there are also plenty of real artsy folks in our neck of the woods. From fine art and performing arts to workshops and art fairs, there are plenty of ways to express yourself in Eagle River.
Take an Art Tour
Take yourself on a tour of nearly forty artist’s studios (many of which are rarely open to the public). Learn about the art-making process, see demonstrations, and get your opportunity to purchase artwork at each location. See our calendar of events to find Art Tour dates.
Immerse Yourself in the Arts at The Warehouse
With five tailored programs, public events and a huge variety of classes and courses, anyone can bring out their inner artist at The Warehouse Art Center for the Arts. Pottery, watercolor, theatre, jewelry making, Japanese paper making, and fiver arts are just some of the many classes taught by a staff of artists and volunteers. With class levels for all skillsets and ages, The Warehouse connects arts to the Northwoods and gives everyone the opportunity to be creative. Shop handcrafted mugs and goods in their window gallery. Or attend their Art off the Tracks event where you can buy works from their artists as well as a beverage from Inspiration Bar to help support their mission.
Catch a Performance
Grab a seat at the Northland Pines High School auditorium to catch an exceptional musical or play put on by the Headwaters Council for the Performing Arts. This nonprofit organization brings quality entertainment to the Northwoods at an affordable price with many performers providing outreach programs to youth in our area.
Join a Creative Community
Part movie theatre, part live entertainment space, part art gallery, part seasonal children’s art class, the Three Lakes Center for the Arts offers a welcoming place for artists of all kinds and ages to generate creative energy and embrace community.
