Take a Marsh Tour on October 2nd - 5th                (Times vary each day)

Want to see where cranberries come from? We invite you to take a marsh tour at Lake Nokomis. While cranberries aren’t grown in water, it sure is fun to see them gathered up in flooded fields. Attendees 21 years old and older can sample cranberry wine on the tour.

Shuttles leave from the Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center from Thursday through Sunday. Reservations are not required but are strongly encouraged to guarantee a spot on the tour.  Call 800-359-6315 to reserve your seat today.

 Marsh Tour Cost:  $10/adult   Children (6-12) $5/child  and Children 5 and under are free if setting on an adult's lap.

Free Shuttle Bus to all the various festival locations: Festival Grounds (Vilas County Fairgrounds-Hwy 70W) and Downtown Eagle River.  Shuttle Bus available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. (Shuttles run approximately every 30 minutes depending on traffic).  Stops are made at the Cranberry Fest festival grounds - Vilas County Fairgrounds, Downtown at the corner of Main and Wall Street, First Congregational Church of Christ, Olson Memorial Library and the Eagle River Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center.

9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Leaving every thirty minutes.  Tours leave from the Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center – 201 N. Railroad St.

EATING AND DRINKING CRANBERRIES

More than 4 tons of cranberries will be sold during the festival. That’s 8,000 pounds! Cranberry Fest will have cranberry soup, cranberry brats, and cranberry baked goods to go with char-broiled chicken sandwiches and other tasty treats.

Cranberries can be consumed many different ways—raw cranberries, baked cranberry goods, as a relish or garnish for other foods, etc… Get inspired by some of our favorite cranberry recipes.

Some vendors will be mixing a few of their favorite cranberry drinks, too. The Cranberry Wine and Beer Garden is a fun stop for visitors 21 years of age and older. From cranberry juice to cranberry wines and other libations, chances are there will be a cranberry beverage made to your liking.

While cranberries might be the main dish at Cranberry Fest, there are many side acts to check out during the weekend. There will be an arts and crafts fair, an antique/vintage and farmer’s market, and family entertainment to provide a memorable experience for attendees.
